Lift by Marc Isaacs

Lift is a short documentary based in a lift of a London tower block. Marc Isaacs, the maker of the documentary, films the people who use the lift and ask questions about their everyday life. The movie on a whole is very interesting as not many people expected him to be in the lift and in a few of the shots there would be a brooding silence but after a while the people started to open up to him more and would casually chat to him about their day as you would do with a friend which he has become at this point. I really liked the film and would recommend this to others to watch because like Isaacs we are also observers into their lives and we as an audience feel a connection to them as the film progresses.
